Today's interview is all about the joy of discovery, the pursuit of passion, and the empowerment of community. Join me as I sit down with Circe, an inspirational figure in the Solana space who's making waves as a content creator and community builder. Let's dive in!

🎅: Hello Circe! I’m so excited to have you and hear your unique perspective. So, tell us how did you get into this space? What made you stick around?

Circe: I heard about it from YouTube & friends, and as cliche as it sounds, stuck for the community. I also want to be part of it all as Web3 advances.

🎅: What’s your proudest win?

C: I think it was when I got y00tlisted. I was just 2.5 months into building my account and trying to take up marketing strategising jobs in web 3 (think brand development & content creation rather than influencer promotions), and being y00tlisted felt like my efforts were being recognised and that I was on the right path. My conviction for my involvement in the space only grew after that

🎅: Biggest ‘facepalm’ moment or regret?

C: When I minted projects that in hindsight were no way going to succeed if I had done my research properly.

🎅: As a woman in the space, can you share the unique opportunities and challenges you’ve encountered through your journey?

C: There are a lot, but one that is particularly close to my heart is the assumption that women gain following & traction due to their looks. There are women who choose to use that strategically, but everything comes at a trade off e.g. being underestimated, have credibility being doubted. And for those that don’t, it undermines their efforts in building & maintaining a brand, as if “looks” were a be all end all. If one is good looking, suddenly that is all that one is known/good for and it is as if all impressions are a result of that sole reason.

🎅: What’s the most exciting thing [in crypto or beyond] right now? Spill the tea.

C: Personally, I am excited to see the conversion rate after PayPal starts their stable coin. I believe digital currency on high volume platforms like such will be crucial in bringing the next wave of users onto crypto. Likewise for X as well, as it has been hinted that creators will be soon able to be rewarded with a digital coin by their audience.

🎅: What are you building? Why does it matter to you?

C: I am currently building my personal brand and my skills in managing Web3 positions. This is important to me as I see this as something that has a huge potential as a ticket to freedom. Ultimately I want to be able to work remotely and be able to support my family, and I am seeing a lot of opportunities in the content creator’s realm here in Web 3. With volume and traction, I can only imagine more jobs open up as well.With my personal brand, I am also building a community of people that I have the privilege to exchange with. I hope that in my journey I am able to empower my community in their path to freedom too.

🎅: As you look ahead, what personal goals are you chasing?

C: Ultimately, I would want to retire my family and myself & spend more time with them + nurture a family of my own (I would love to have kids in the future). I seek freedom in terms of time, location & monetary. Everything I do is motivated by that. I guess a first step to that would be to get monetised on twitter. While it may not pay big bills straight away, I see it as a milestone check and affirmation that I am going in the right direction.
