Ho, ho, ho, it's 🎅.sol again. I had a chance to meet Wombat, also known as the ChildOfBusiness. Though he's just 15, age doesn't restrict his passion for art and entrepreneurship in the Solana universe. He's demonstrating that youth can be a formidable driver of innovation and creativity, something he uses to his advantage rather than viewing it as a barrier.. Strap in as we delve into his inspiring journey!

Santa: Hey Wombat, I’m so happy to have you! You really embrace the ‘busy’ in ‘business’. So, tell us how did you get into this space? What made you stick around?

Wombat: I originally joined the Solana ecosystem to mint DegenApeAcademy which unfortunately I failed to do. I had planned to launch a collection back then but never did as the art never reached my standards. The original support of the community and the support to me as a 1/1 artist was so immense I decided to stay.

S: What’s your proudest win?

W: As of right now my proudest win is the Faceless collection I released on drip_haus.

S: Biggest ‘facepalm’ moment or regret?

W: I've had a lot of these moments but one that comes to mind is fading degods in 2021 when they were at a significantly lower price.

S: What’s the most exciting thing [in crypto or beyond] right now? Spill the tea.

W: I think the most interesting thing to me is platforms that are onboarding new users through NFT technology but not necessarily NFTs. It's important to realise that many have a bad perception toward NFTs and using the tech in new ways is a good way to bypass this. Great examples of this are drip_haus and cupcakeprotocol.

S: What are you building? Why does it matter to you?

W: I want to create a world of characters through the medium of generative collections. It's important to me because I want to release new art in fun ways and I'm tired of the traditional "norm" for an NFT collection. I plan to destroy the barriers.

S: As you look ahead, what personal goals are you chasing?

W: In short the answer is to complete my goal and have a grand and unique universe of art people can resonate with.
